GETTING ACTIVE IN COVID APP Brief

OLD

NEW

Decluttered the description of the brief; in the original version I was referencing myself too much, making it seem a bit informal, so I removed most of the references to myself, where it wasn't completely necessary.

With COVID limiting many social elements of day to day life, it's left people feeling a bit excluded or not motivated to get out of their homes. Saying this, it has opened up opportunities to get out and explore country parks, wildlife reserves, etc. I've been doing a bit of wild swimming recently, which is simply just swimming outside in a natural pool of water. I found that through doing it over the space of a couple weeks, I was finding places to swim all around the area I lived and were just un-used, so it was safe to use during the lockdown. But I figured I was only finding out about these places through word of mouth, there weren't any apps detailing these locations it was all on obscure blogs or Facebook pages.

This gave me the idea for an experiential navigational app that locates these wild swimming points, as to make it easier for people to find all the information they need for wild swimming in 1 location. The app would also detail the health benefits of wild swimming too.
